| Wilderness Challenge, award-winning Cairns 4WD safari operator, provides a 3 day safari which visits some of Australia’s most
revered rock art in the sandstone escarpment of the Great Dividing Range near Laura. The Quinkan Rock Art’s diverse images
and engravings are rated by UNESCO among the world’s top ten rock art regions. The region’s Aboriginal occupation dates back
over 30,000 years and images of Quinkan spirits, totem animals and human figures adorn the sandstone shelters. The safari
also walks with Aboriginal guides – the traditional owners of the Wujal Wujal area to spectacular Bloomfield Falls. Wilderness
Challenge’s range of Cape York safaris also include these elements.
