The Armidale and Region Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place is a community-based centre where you can experience the diversity of Australian Indigenous arts and culture all year round. Created to run courses in Australian Aboriginal culture: our ultimate goal is to foster cultural understanding in the community. Traditional custodian Noel Butler is Jamanee Gunya’s educator. Noel relays the stories and customs of his people – the Budawang people, in vivid detail. Noel has over 25 years experience in teaching Aboriginal culture Australia wide. One day and three day cultural experience courses are available to visitors to our camp. Funds raised in running cultural experience courses are channelled into Jamanee Gunya’s work educating and empowering Indigenous youths. The founders of Mehi Murri believe that they have a story to tell about their life growing up in Moree and want the opportunity to ‘tell their side of the story’. They want to let the community know that Moree does not suffer from the troubles of the past and that Mehi Murri has a lot to offer to the cultural aspects of Moree and District.

Tour of Djeebahn	Aboriginal Cultural Cruise	Royal National Park	NSW
Just 40 minutes by coach from the CBD, the Tour of Djeebahn takes visitors into the waters of the Rainbow Serpent, belonging to the Dharawal people. This is a 2.5 hour cruise along the Port Hacking River including bush foods and morning tea. Visitors will receive a ‘Welcome To Country’ with a traditional smoking ceremony from a traditional elder of the local community, hear stories about the first European settlers to the area, view Aboriginal shell middens that were formed over thousands of years and learn how the rock art in the area was created with stories that date back more than 4,500 years.

This traditional dance company has performed in over 24 countries around the world. The performances present traditional Aboriginal stories in a contemporary setting and feature songs in Monero people language. Doonooch performed at the opening of the Sydney 2000 Olympics and also participated in the opening of the Rugby Union World Cup celebrations held in Sydney.

Euraba Paper Aboriginal Corporation	100% handmade paper / artworks	Boggabilla	NSW
The Euraba Artists & Papermakers are Australia's premier Indigenous paper mill. An initiative of Goomeroi women from Toomelah and Boggabilla in North-West NSW, Euraba's enterprise involves handmade, locally and traditionally sourced fibres made into sheets of paper and paper products. Visitors who are interested in seeing how this very unique artists paper is made, can do so by making a booking in advance. Sometimes one can see some of the local artists at work, either painting or creating the beautiful stationery products which can be purchased in the nearby shop. The Euraba Paper Shop is attached to the paper mill. Euraba Paper makes 100% cotton pulp paintings that are unique in Australia. Other products include stationery sets, water marked papers for special occasions and original art works. Visitors welcome.
